About Me

Hello! My name is Layla Tyus, and I am currently a student at Alabama State University pursuing my education and preparing for my future career. I am expected to graduate in Spring 2028. During my time at the university, I have been actively involved in cheerleading, which has helped me develop leadership, teamwork, communication, and time-management skills. Cheerleading has taught me the importance of dedication, discipline, and encouraging others to succeed both on and off the field.

In addition to cheering at Alabama State University, I also worked as a cheer coach, where I helped mentor and train younger athletes. This experience strengthened my leadership abilities and allowed me to build confidence while helping others grow and improve their skills. I am also a proud member of Cheer Beta Phi, a campus organization that allows me to stay involved in student activities and connect with others who share similar interests and goals.

I enjoy working with people, learning new things, and staying involved in activities that challenge me to become a better person. My goals are to continue growing professionally, make a positive impact in my community, and build a successful future through hard work, leadership, and determination.
